Most Bay Area firms use various forms of stock and option grants to lure and motivate employees, yet few employees possess an understanding of how to manage these positions to best serve their interests even while these positions may represent a significant portion of their net worth. Our role is to create and implement a plan specifically addressing these positions and then, as a comprehensive wealth manager, to broaden our service relationship with each client over time. Middle market services in this area represent an enormous opportunity given the proliferation of Bay Area companies compensating employees in this important but often misunderstood area.

Your Roles & Responsibilities:
With the above in mind, your primary role would be to network into Bay Area companies using both your natural and acquired social media skills. You would be networking into numerous companies to discover both individuals desiring our guidance along with in-house HR/executive comp professionals with whom you would arrange educational workshops that we would implement. Your first step will be to devise a related implementation plan and to then to implement that plan as soon and as effectively as possible.

Minimum Qualifications:
– you should have 3-5 years of experience and success with both marketing research and sales
– networking at conferences, over the phone and through tools like Linked-in should be easy and natural to you
– experience and understanding of HR/executive comp is preferable
– working and excelling in a team driven setting should be natural for you
– you must be driven to succeed and understand that no effort of substance is easy but that through constant re-direction, support and undying persistence you will succeed
– you must be self-directed with the ability and desire to not just manage yourself but lead and manage others over time.

Compensation and Benefits:
– salary based on your experience
– contingent pay based on both individual and team profit sharing results
– after vesting, equity ownership of the firm will be made available
– if your commitment and success are long term you will participate in an ownership succession plan that will pass the firm from one generation to another
– benefits will begin with 50% healthcare and will expand over time
